ANIMAL ISSUES CLASSES
DeKalb Animal Control is offering 2 educational classes in April: “Animal Cruelty Awareness Class” and “Pittville. The Animal Cruelty Awareness Class is described as “an open discussion about the state of animal cruelty in DeKalb County and the steps being taken to prosecute and reduce the number of these horrific crimes.” Pittville’s goal is “educating the public about bully breeds: Pit bulls.”
Both classes are being presented by Animal Cruelty Investigator K.D. Hearst, from 6:00-9:00P at 1950 W. Exchange Place Tucker, Ga. 30084 in room 118-C.

This year’s event is scheduled from 9:00A-4:00P on May 8th. It will be held on Main Street in Tucker. Some earlier information had stated that the location would be different this year, due to construction on Main Street. However, this construction has been delayed, so the event will remain at the original location-Main Street. AIR SHOW AT PDK, Saturday, June 5th, 2010, from noon till 5 PM the public is invited to the Peachtree DeKalb Airport. The Peachtree DeKalb Airport will host Air Show and Open House There will be food vendors and antique planes, there will be planes in the sky doing tricks. Parking is $5.00 and admission is free. Enter the airport through the main gate off Airport Road. Take I-85 to Clairmont Road exit and go west past Sam's Club, across Buford Hwy and Dresden Drive.
